Several years ago I had some leaking underground water pipes on my property. I quickly became intrigued with technologies that are able to detect and locate hidden underground plastic pipes & water leaks. I know that for many folks, just getting the leaks fixed and forgotten would be great! Instead I decided to purchase some equipment to find my leaks.
I have always had an entraprenerial spirit and while attempting to locate several leaks on my property, I quickly discovered that there was a whole lot more to learn. I quickly discovered that there is no silver bullet tool to use however instead, many tools to use depending on variables. Pipe locating (plastic & metallic) & leak detection was a whole new skill set to learn as I worked to successfully offer as a business. I soon sought professional training and sourced the highest quality equipment I could find from several leading manufacturers.
I continue to aquire additional equipment for neccessary applications and in 2010 completed professional training & certification in Utility Locating through Staking University and since expanded services to include Plastic Water Pipe Locating, Private Utility Locating & Electrical Ground Fault Locating. Today I operate and continue to develop Simply Leak Detection while offering a wide range of locating services from Salem OR to Olympia WA and literally everywhere in between!
