It is always best to know where your water pipes are buried prior to planting trees & shrubs of any size. As seen in this picture, this cedar tree was placed nearly directly above this water pipe. Though locating the leak on this pipe was simple, the massive tree roots made the repair a difficult & costly task for the plumber.
